Finding the Loving You
Space. It’s that place you stare into for hours at a time. It’s that negative world beyond your soul, where you are lost in thoughts and feelings. It is an escape route, a sanctuary from desperation. It is also the place that collects and stores your anger and desolation. It is the lost place that you know the way to.
There is a simple technique to change this negative place into a positive encounter. The first thing you have to do is find that person inside that loves you. It is there, believe me. We do love ourselves, even when lowest, and in the most need. The other part of us, that we hate, has become dominant. It is ruling our planets and directing our traffic. It is that angry face we see when we look into space. It is time to replace it.
Next time you are staring off into negative space, lost inside the void, let yourself see your own loving face with arms outstretched, waiting to embrace you. Your warmest smile is there, welcoming you in. When you feel able, let the loving you embrace your soul and hold it close. Comfort can come in many shapes, even your imagination.
Each time you find that space and disappear, let yourself see the loving you, waiting there. Soon this other side of you will be waiting just beyond the veil when you come to visit. It is okay to find solace there. It is okay to feel peaceful when surrounded by the love of yourself.
At some point, you will want to bring that loving person that is you out of the negative space and into your life. That loving you will come willingly. It wants you to be happy; it wants you to feel loved. Start the next time you find yourself hanging out in the universe.
